Then, the tour continues to the San Blas neighborhood, where the narrow and picturesque streets offer a magnificent photographic backdrop. We cross the community along its small paths lined with stone walls, fields and country houses to reach a waterfall more than fifteen meters high that dominates the community. From the waterfall, we enter the gap discovering a forest of native trees , queuñas and chachacomos, and the rugged stream with small waterfalls. It is a perfect context to explore the photographic effects that can be created with the textures of nature, natural light and speed on the element of water. Details and prices Urquillos Breach Inca Terraces of Chinchero - Waterfall - Inca Trail - Village of the Sacred Valley of the Incas This walk begins in the town of Chinchero located at 3800 meters above sea level. The route consists of an Inca trail that connected the heights of Chinchero to the village of Urquillos located in the Sacred Valley. We follow a stream, discover a large waterfall and perhaps meet shepherds. It is a relatively easy and short hike. Details and prices Huchuy Qosqo Crossing a pass - Descent to the Inca village We begin the path in the community of Taucca, leaving behind the Piuray lagoon. After an hour of gentle ascent we reach the pass, passing near small lagoons and with the possibility of observing the Ausangate mountain range depending on the clarity of the sky. From there we begin our descent to the Inca village of Huchuy Qosqo. During this visit we cross different ecological floors that allow us to observe the changes in vegetation and landscapes. With luck, discretion and patience we can photograph hummingbirds and other small birds. A beautiful stream accompanies us to the village. We walk through the village for about an hour enjoying its immense terraces and buildings that are being restored. Then we begin our descent to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This trail offers us spectacular views overlooking the valley. Details and prices Pumahuanca Br ê che et temple inca This walk takes us to the Pumahuanca gap on the heights of the city of Urubamba. We will go back up through a charming forest of wild trees, following a stream. This natural context offers us a perfect setting to play with the contrasts of light and shadows. The trail will take us to a little-visited Inca temple, known as the Temple of the Ñustas, dedicated to women and the moon. Details and prices Qancha Qancha High-altitude village, lagoons and glaciers On the heights of the Sacred Valley of the Incas is the community of Qancha Qancha, a small village of llama breeders surrounded by snow-capped mountains and lagoons. To get to the community, we walked for about 4 hours following a stream and through forests of native trees. When we arrived at the community, we set up camp and took advantage of the afternoon to go and discover a place where red waters flow from the ground. We took advantage of the night to do an astronomical photography session. The next morning, we tour the pampas to discover several lagoons and photograph the llamas that the members of the community graze. We also appreciate the birdlife that lives on these heights. In the afternoon we go back down to the Valley. Details and prices Pitusiray Montagne mythique Pitusiray is a mythical mountain where a forgotten shadow phenomenon was rediscovered about twenty years ago , where a puma chases the face of the Inca. This phenomenon occurs in the first week of October, it is associated with the spring equinox announcing the arrival of the rainy season. Our ascent will be done in a mini van during which we will have the opportunity to enjoy privileged views of the Sacred Valley and the Wilcamayu River that crosses it. We arrive at the Qan Qan lagoon where we set up our camp. We take advantage of the whole afternoon to explore the surroundings of the lagoon and photograph the diversity of the ornithological fauna. The landscape around the lagoon is impressive, the mountains form a kind of amphitheater and seem to be giants petrified thousands of years ago. Details and prices
