​In Inca times, myths and reality were intrinsically linked, both integrating elements of each in order to perpetuate the memory of time and space. The mysterious shadows which are projected on a monumental rock wall at the top of the Pitusiray mountain are one expression of this: an agricultural clock indicating to the Incan astronomers the return of the spring equinox and, with it, the return of the season rains.

​This journey will take you to the origins of the Incas people, to the discovery of the mysterious phenomenon of shadows which occurs at the summit of Pitusiray mountain a few days after the spring equinox. A fascinating photo course in search of the superposition of Inca and colonial symbols, an immersion in the magic of the Andean cosmovision, not to understand, but rather to feel this subtle connection of ancient civilizations with the Earth and the Cosmos.
